Let’s Fill the Ark...
On Sunday, April 1 we would like to begin distributing bags of food to our guests at Johnny’s Open Table. We would very much like to continue this project each Sunday of Johnny’s Open Table for the remainder of 2012.
Below is a list of specific food items that we would like to collect in the ark over the next six weeks.
February 19 - peanut butter or jelly
February 26 - macaroni & cheese
March 4 - small cans of green beans
March 11 - rice
March 18 - canned chicken or tuna
March 25 - fruit cups or applesauce cups
Church members who have worked with food distribution in our community have suggested that we collect specific food items so that each family receives the same or very similar gift from Wingate Baptist Church.
